Collaborative Projects
Complex trauma requires a complex response. It often causes victims and those who care about them to feel isolated. Sidran fosters projects that create integrated service systems to support survivors holistically. Sidran is proud of its record of collaboration with a diverse range of organizations. Most of our major projects, proprietary publications, and training programs have sprung from collaborative relationships.
Our approach is, whenever possible, to pilot collaborative projects in our home city of Baltimore. Two grant-funded pilot programs are: the Sprituality and Victims Services Initiative in urban Eastern Baltimore and the Shofar Coalition in the Jewish communities of Northwest Baltimore. Both programs build collaborative networks that include • clergy • health and mental health providers • victims’ assistance organizations • survivors and their loved ones, and • community residents.
